Pensacola Children's Chorus "Christmas on the Coast" tickets go on sale October 29

The Pensacola Children's Chorus, under the direction of Allen and Susan Pote, will present its annual production of "Christmas on the Coast" Saturday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 7, at 2:30 p.m. at the Pensacola Civic Center.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 29 at the Civic Center Box Office (432-0800; open weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), at all TicketMaster outlets, and at www.ticketmaster.com; or charge by phone by calling 850-434-7444. Ticket prices are $17.00, $27.00 and $29.00. Prices are subject to additional Civic Center facility and processing fees at the time of purchase.

In what will be an amazing spectacular, over 270 young performers, ages 9-18, will dazzle audiences with their singing, choreography and breathtaking costumes. This Broadway style production will feature medleys of favorite songs and carols of the season; a nativity scene; songs of the Jewish tradition; novelty numbers, including "Letters to Santa" and "Christmas Toys and Candies"; and, of course, plenty of Santa Claus.

All patrons will enjoy a great view of "Christmas on the Coast" in the Pensacola Civic Center.

Sensational lighting and sound will be provided by Dorsett Productions of Mobile. Completing the creative team for this always-popular holiday event will be Michael Dennis, Donna Mixon, Emily Mixon, Nannette Grimm and Karen Hebert, choreographers; LaRaye Ryan, costumer; and Marian Bryan, production coordinator.
